Lyrics - "Revved up like a deuce, another roller in the night"

Misheard - "Revved up like a douche, another roller in the night"

About last December, two of my friends and I were driving back from somewhere, and that song came on the radio.  I couldn't remember what the real words were, but all three of us were completely convinced that it sounded like "Wrapped up like a douche."  We had the longest, most ridiculous discussion about what else it could possibly be.  Then we'd all hush when that part came on again.  And we'd listen really closely and then burst out laughing when he said it again.

I swear nobody was drunk or high.

he says DOUCHE, not DEUCE. I think it's a speech impediment, really. :lol

I was just laughing about Charlie's "Sally has a rock" instead of "Solid as a rock"  :D

and yeah, jlb is always good for a misheard lyric; love them all  ;D also somethimes I think the dt guys just come up with unfortunate lyrics that are just destined to produce a laugh; like, for expample: "forsaken, I have come for you tonight" .. well, of course you think "... I have cum for you tonight...

also there's tons of misheard english to german stuff, but it obviously doesn't make sense to post them here

if they're funny and you explain them, it is!

someone posted a "misheard dt lyrics" video on youtube ages ago on dtf, and part of it was so funny, where jlb supposedly sang "i have shat a tractor, i am not a freak" for part of pull me under. :lol

Iron Maiden - Brave New World

"Bring this sandwich back home"

Actual: "Bring this savage back home"

this came from a really bad (i mean absolutely effing horrible) cover that i somehow came across on google. the singer was either: a) foreign; or b) had the worst speech impediment (like little nicky ;D ) i have ever heard.

but i laugh my arse off everytime i listen to that version.

That was almost TOO good!  :rollin

Poor James, he has such great vocal projection, yet on all of the REALLY good vocal work he's done (like on Awake, which I just love) the "music" part of it is great, while the words just fail completely  :lol

But if the dung comes out
He shits the death upon a man
To throw them a rag
Better to save the menstruate
Then surrender tuna sea crap
WHALE!!
