Blizzard today!  :metal

I think we've already gotten 30cm (1 foot), and the wind is gusting to over 110 km/h (over 65 mp/h)!

I haven't lost power yet, but most of the city has, so we'll see how it goes  :corn

Man, I'm glad I have a beard on days like this; it's @#$%'n cold! It's -28 degrees celcius (-18 farenheit) with the windchill. Because the air is also so humid here, the cold just seeps right into your bones no matter how much clothing you wear.

Out in Western Canada and further north (where my brother lives), the temperature is down to -53 degrees celcius (-63 farenheit)! In those sort of temperatures, skin freezes in 2-5 minutes. It's a dry cold, but at that termperature I'm pretty sure it's just cold, period.

Perhaps we should rethink the term global "warming"  :hmm   :lol

It hasn't been too bad over here. Was around 30 F today, and snowed.

Two weeks ago, I did the annual No Pants Subway ride here in NY. It was fun when we were all without pants in Union Square, in the snow!  :lol

It's blowing cold cold wind -but that's a sign that it'll get warmer soon :D
I don't have very high hopes though, cause as they say: If you don't like the weather in Trondheim, just wait 15 minutes.
There'll probably be a couple of more winters before spring finally settles in, here.

That's what they say here in Nova Scotia!  :lol  Just a universal colloquialism I guess.

Supposed to be 25 degrees (Celsius) and sunny on the weekend! The whether has been all over the place lately though, anywhere from 3 degrees, up to 15, and snow, rain and hail mixed in between. Actually, we got about 60 mm of rain in the past two days!
