Title: Germany
Post by: Liquidkeyman on March 02, 2008, 10:32:10 AM
Hi Charlie,

It seems that you are a person who enjoys beeing and even living in different places, all over the world...( the States...Italy...for example ).

I was wondering how the decision came up, doing the mixing and mastering of Part 2  ( and now also Part 3 ) in Germany.

Was it the Label's choice ?

I think Markus is a very talented guy and very enjoyable and easy to work with.

We also worked with him on our latest CD.
(...We have entered the Studio right after you left, after finishing Part 2, by the way...)  ;-)

And I guess you have a nice freindship with him in the meantime, right ?

Well let me put it this way, Markus Teske is one of the most talented, friendly, warm and real people I know. I usually only like animals, bit I like Markus. And he has great ears for mixing. He is also willing to listen to someone who has a different idea about the mix and the best result usually comes out of the synergy. I will always be honered and pleased to have the oppurtunity to work on anything with Mr Teske! He is Great! Plus,He smokes and drinks! How cool is that! to answer your 1st question,he was initially suggested to me by the label. I was hesitant at first because I wanted to mix the first CD myself at a major studio in San Diego. But I went with the labels suggestion since I'm always  open to new things and meeting new people. I am quite glad I did!
