Well, that's probably because DTF is where its gotten the most promotion so far.

But there are already others filtering in as well.

And, just as a head's up, we have no intention of letting this place turn into "DTF, part 2".  Generally speaking, the discussion will be steered more towards Dominici related discussion and other discussion that is generally somehow relevant to the main focus.

Cwolfe here, from DTF.org and DTF.com (though I posted a few times back on DT.net under a different username)

I'm a graduate student in Physics at Lehigh University in PA, and I'm also happily married.

Damnit, it looks like I'm just too late being one of the first 50, so I won't get the nifty "Forum Elder" title.  :(

Yeah, I like the Physics department, and the campus is really pretty.  The undergrads can be a bit pushy and snobbish sometimes (many of them come from money, while I really don't), but there are a lot of really smart people here  :tup

Oh yeah.  That's one thing I still remember from visiting my dad's work when I was a kid:  it's a beautiful spot.  Really green, but that's the east coast for ya.  If I remember correctly, isn't the campus kind of tucked back behind a whole bunch of trees?  Like, you drive through a bit of a forest and suddenly it opens onto this massive, gorgeous clearing with a university in the middle?

I'm......me! ;D ("No s***, Sherlock!")

I'm 21 years old, live in Almada (a modest region of Portugal).....I'm mainly a Prog fanatic, but listen to alot of different styles of metal/rock, which include everything from Black Metal, to Power Metal, Cello Rock (yup you guessed it, Apocalyptica), some Death Metal, and even softer stuff like Seal, among many many other stuff I listen to.

What else can I say...I'm into graphics design (some should already be aware of that), Anime, and Computer Informatics. Also an avid Magic: the Gathering player.

I should have posted here first.
Just so many threads to read and jump into first!  :rolleyes

I'm Stephanie, known everywhere as Cecilia. I just turned 21 this past November and I live in Bayside, NY (close to Long Island, yet technically on the island). I'm unemployed and not in school.

I am registered on: MP.com, DTF, 5/8, 6r, JP.com, JMF 2, JR.com, JLB (re-registed today), Voices UK, and so on. I spend most of my time on MP.com, drooling over MP. It's a well known fact.

I like music (imagine that), makeup, photography, and playing with my dogs.

I'm also a member of the Majesty tattoo fan club.

Title: Introduce Yourself
Post by: forgottenglory on April 10, 2008, 09:01:01 AM
Hi I'm new here.  Was looking for a Introduce Yourself thread but couldn't find any.  So I thought I'd set one up so that others can use it as well.

I hail from London even though I am originally from Mauritius.  I have been into Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and it's many derivatives since I was 11 years old.  The first band I listened to was EUROPE with the album The Final Countdown.  I came across Dominici's music whilst browsing some other band's myspace and was instantly blown away by The Calling and the other tracks that were on offer.  I got the O3 Part II CD and really enjoyed it from beginning to end.  I'm looking forward to hear the new album.  From the two tracks I heard from myspace it sounds like a 'Monster'!
