Firstly I want to say this is an absolutely brilliant piece of music and is, in my humble opinion, something that rivals Dream Theater and Rush. My question is how did this come about? I ask because it is an instrumental and you being a singer and heading up the band it is great that you can step back and let them have their own 8 1/2 minute piece of technical wizardry. Did you have a lot of input in writing it or did you just let them loose and see what they could do?

Actually a little of both. I told the band to work on a "Monster" instrumental while I was back in the states securing a record deal. When I returned to Sardegna they had most of this written. I had my input here and there, which is why I have writers credit as well but this is truly an example of what great writers and players  Brian and Yan really are. My boyzzzzzzz!!!

PS I was going to say that I wrote charts for each member and made them play it note for note but I didn't think you would believe that.
