I think that my rarest item is probably this PORCUPINE TREE Sampler CD that I have here which appears to be basically hand burned and labeled, as well as the liner being on what seems to be practically red construction paper.

It is at least printed though, rather than handwritten (Wink), tracks being:

1. Stranger By The Minute
2. She's Moved On
3. The Rest Will Flow
4. Slave Called Shiver
5. Waiting
6. Strip The Soul
7. Sleep Of No Dreaming
8. Hate Song

and which I got signed first by John Wesley (who said SW won't sign bootlegs, and I said it's NOT a bootleg, it's a promo that I got from someone who had every right to have it!) then by Steven Wilson who was bewildered by it at first till I told him where and who it came from.

I don't know if there's more than this one out there, but I'm sure there's probably a small handful. Here's the only pic I have of it, which shows the things I brought home from that particular concert.

I also have a promo copy of Systematic Chaos signed to me from Mike Portnoy, that might be worth something, but it's not that rare I'm sure.

I think most of the rare CDs I have aren't rare because not many were printed--they're rare because nobody else bothered to buy them.

Although I do have a copy of Superior's "Younique," which is out of print.

Well for starters I got lots of stuff signed...

03 Part 1 and 03 Part 3 Promo are signed by Charlie Dominici.
Into the Now is signed by all of Tesla.
In Absentia, Fear of a Blank Planet, and Stupid Dream are both signed by Porcupine Tree.
Dance of Death is signed by Nicko McBrain.
The Odyssey is signed by Symphony X.
Embrace the Storm is signed by A.A. Lucasson.
Live in the Real World CD and DVD sets are signed by all of Stream of Passion including Diana Bovio.
When Dream and Day Re-Unite DVD is signed by Derek Sherinian, and that should one day have another guests signature on it. *cough*
Mythology is signed by Derek Sherinian.
A Change of Seasons, Falling Into Infinity, and the Old Bridge official bootleg are all signed by Mike Portnoy and Derek Sherinian.
Scenes From a Memory Gold Stamp Promo is signed by Mike Portnoy and John Myung.
Operation: Mindcrime is signed by all of Queensryche including Pamela Moore.
Best I Can single and Queen of the Reich/Mindcrime French Digi-pack are signed by Michael Wilton and Scott Rockenfield.
Sola Scriptura is signed by Neal Morse.
The Road Home is signed by Jordan Rudess.
Coldness is signed by Timo Kotipelto.
Infinite Visions DVD is signed by Timo Tollki and Jorg Michael.

I have a ton of singles and import stuff from Queensryche, Rush, Iron Maiden, and Dream Theater. One of the highlights is my Japanese copy of Falling Into Infinity which comes with the bonus 3" disc. I also have about 15 pieces of Maiden vinyl including studio albums and singles. I also have every major Rush release on vinyl up to Presto including the Holland only compilation Rush Through Time.

Probably more I'm forgetting, but that's enough for now.

I think one of the rarer non-DT items I've got is the first Rocket Scientists album, which was released in '93 and has been out of print for quite some time.

It was just finally re-released a few months ago in the form of a 5-disc boxed set which I recommend you all get Smiley

Yeah and also WDADU signed by Charlie.

I have a Bob McGrath (Bob from Sesame Street) CD which is signed. I bet you guys don't have it, and I'm breaking all the rules and making that a rare CD.

It will be rare soon enough. Like in another 2 or 3 months when I have been in NY for that time where the last few boxes are.

I got a copy of Chocolate Starfish & the Hot Dog Flavored Water (I was 11, still that album is quite good) and it came with a second CD that had this one song that was a collaboration between Limp Bizkit and Run-DMC that nobody else that I know of had.
