Hey all  Smiley

I've been away for a while - winter rest, so to say  Roll Eyes

Tonight's a heavy metal night for me.. Saxon and Iced Earth I haven't been out for a concert for almost two months and I'm suffering from serious withdrawl!!

So I'll tell you tomorrow how it was..

Ahhhh I feel much better now
Iced Earth were good, Matt Barlow's voice was awesome. But Saxon were even better, the atmosphere was great!!

Here's the setlist:
Battalions
HM Thunder
Witch Finder
747
Sweeny Todd
Hellcat
Dogs/Atilia
The Letter
Valley
Wheels of Steel
Power & Glory
Crusader
---
Live to Rock
Princess
Denim and Leather

Any fans of IE/Saxon around? I wouldn't consider myself as a "real" fan of them, but I like them enough to pay for the concert tickets.

Never even heard of Saxon before now, do you have any suggestions for what I should check out of them?
I think I checked out IE once and found I didn't like them...

Sounds like a great concert. I'm not too much into IE, but I'd definitely go to their shows, and have. I've had people tell me about Saxon before, but I never really got around to checking out their music.

I should look into them.
