I'd prefer to keep this sort of thing to private message, now and in the future. I'll shoot you one now.

With no intention of starting a debate, I just thought I'd share this news clip. WOW! and we thought Einstein was stupid!

Well, I'm suprise it took so long this to show up. I kind of always thought he didn't believe in God, as a lot of scientist do.

I myself am a scientist, and I believe in God.  Anyway, I've always found it funny that Einstein is best known in the mainstream for E=mc2, but it was the photoelectric effect that won him the Nobel Prize.

I didn't mean no offense by it, but it's the truth that most scientist don't believe in God. No scientific proof or something, they say.

Yeah, not to get into that whole thing again, but it's just a personal choice, so anyone can believe in god, no matter what their station.

Anyway, as far as the Einstein stuff goes, he had his hand in A LOT of modern physics. You name it and he probably developed it in some way. I think the main reason for this was the fact that Einstein did very little experimentation himself, and just used that massive brain of his to extrapolate and logically deduce theories into existence. I mean, taking the works of people like Maxwell and expanding on it? That takes a revolutionary mind to think as "out there" as he did, and still find reasoning for it. I think its for this reason that Einstein earned the Nobel prize; the photoelectric effect was just kinda the "excuse" to give it to him I think.

Anyway, nerd rant over

Damn... no politics?

I know what you mean though, religion and politics often gets heated, even amongst intelligent, civil folks.

I am a political junkie.... guess I will keep that to my myspace page.

Actually freedom of speech is not the issue. This is my site and I have the right to prevent it from becoming a circus if I wish. There are plenty of sites for people to post on if they wish to perpetuate stupidity. We discuss real things here, not fantasies.
