I'm not really sure how to post photos, but here is an attempt:

The first ones are relatively recent (maybe a 7 months ago?), but I hate them because they look so "myspace"; despite the fact that I don't even HAVE a myspace!

The second one is one of me years ago, when I was clean shaven and with much shorter hair.

Looking at them now, I can tell how long ago they were taken since my beard is now about a foot long, and my hair is well past my mid back

And Like VFS, I apologize for poor picture quality.

You'd be surprised at how much I hear that!

But no, I could grow a "full" beard since I was 13 or 14, not really sure why. It's just as the "goatee" form now, it used to be a massive beard and was that length all over my face! It irritated me a lot though so I cut that thing down

I was actually also in a big blockbuster movie (I think the budget was 60 or 70 million) where I played a Viking Warrior (no lines though); no one on set would ever believe I was as old as I was either  But that isn't necessarily a bad thing since I'm relatively old in demeanor as well, so I live life in society as someone who is 25 or so  No age restrictions for me!

So no, I am not Zakk Wylde's son! It's funny though, because recently I saw Ozzy when he came here and whenever I would pop around corners or curtains all the drunk people and Zakk fans would cheer because they thought I was him for a second  Though they quickly realized from me being much skinner that I wasn't him haha.

Seriously, to look that young and innocent, yet that aged, you must be a soul-eater.

Give me back my soul.

Eater.

Well, that was the most wonderfully confusing complement

But don't worry, (and to keep up with the muppet theme) I eat souls like the cookie monster; you only need to pick it back up off the floor and reassemble it  Grin

Dude, Matt, can you do death growls?  Because you'd look AMAZING doing death growls.

And is it weird that your second picture reminds me of the Fear of a Blank Planet video?

Okay, I give up.  I know I'm supposed to know who the first Mike is, but I don't recognize him.

So who is he?

Funny thing is I've met Portnoy 4 times, and only 1 time was at a Dream Theater concert.

First time was at an Yngwie Malmsteen show in Allentown, in which Derek Sherinian was on keys. That was back on May 10th, 2006. After the show MP and DS were just hanging around and chatting.

Second time was at the Porcupine Tree show in Philly on May 23rd, 2007. I spotted MP during the show, and then afterwards he went back stage and I was lucky enough to as well. One of the coolest experiences in my life. It was just my group of 5, maybe 4 other fans, and PT and MP and we chilled in the green room for about an hour.

Then I met him down in the family and friends area after the last Dream Theater show in Philly, that was August 26th, 2007. After chilling down there for a bit we all decided to go out to the tourbus and I was able to get on Dream Theater's tourbus and I had a conversation with John Myung.

And then of course there was this last time with Symphony X. Cheesy

Funny thing is I've now met Portnoy 4 times and I've only met another member of the band once.

Does MP recognize you? Because those 4 times have been pretty close to each other.
